| Your wish list only becomes public (put online) once you have invited atleast 1 person to view your gift registry. Do this by adding your email address under point 4 "Inform guests" -> "My account" and sending yourself an invitation email. |

| We would like your gifts to remain a surprise, as is the case with "normal" presents, which you would only receive on the day of your celebration. By receiving your gift money after your celebration, we don't spoil the fun! You will also only find out who the gift-givers are, after your Big Day!
Plus, your guests will not have the feeling that they are just depositing money into your bank account, but the feeling that they are purchasing gifts to bring you one step nearer to your dream holiday, honeymoon, whatever it is you wish for! |

| Yes of course: print out your gift list and the instructions for postal orders, and give this to your guests. They can select what they would like to buy and send the order by post to us. |

| If you would like to keep the access to your gift list limited, you can set up a password for your registry that will only enable invited guests to view your registry. |

| What happens if the celebration is cancelled or postponed? |

You can change the date of the celebration under “Registry details”. If the celebration is cancelled, and we have already transferred the gift money to your account, then it is your responsibility to give the money back to your guests. If we have not transferred the gift money to your account, we can give the money back to your guests for you. If you have already booked a trip, please contact your travel agent. |

| How and when do I receive the gift money? |

| You need to put through a request for your gift money, by clicking on Receive gifts in your account. We will transfer the gift money to your account on 2 different dates: firstly, on your Big Day, and secondly about 14 days after your “event date”. This is because we have to wait for all payments from your guests to be cleared and for fraud prevention purposes. |

Send your guests a notification card together with your invitations. We have even prepared a card that you can print out and send away.
You can also send an E-Postcard with a direct link to your personal gift list.

| There is no signup or setup fee. A small service charge of 2% is deducted from the total of your guests' cash contributions. Tip: If you book a trip with one of our travel partners, you do not pay the 2% service charge on the travel costs. Learn more: Charges. |

Guests can pay by bank transfer or through PayPal. This way, we do not save personal information and the payments remain secure and private. Paypal is an online payment service accepting various payment methods including credit cards, even without creating a Paypal account. A service charge of 3,9% (minimum €0,50, maximum €3,90) of the total sum is added to bank transfer payments, and a charge of 5% (minimum €1,95) to Paypal payments. |

„Der grosse Tag“ acts as the „middle-man“ between you and your guests. We collect the gift money and pass it on to you. The planning, buying or completion of the gifts lies in your responsibility. We do of course, have travel partners willing to assist you with your travel bookings. |

The money you receive from your guests will be put aside in an account for you. The money will not be used or “borrowed” by „Der grosse Tag“. The money remains in this account until your “wish date”, when the money is transferred to your account. Only then, do we transfer the service charge portion of the gifts to our general checking account. |
